May I cancel my reservation due to the COVID-19?
If you have to cancel your stay due to COVID-19 for one of the following situations:
- You or one of your accompanying persons is tested positive, or contact case upon departure. (Proof to be provided).
- National or regional confinement by government decree.
- Closure of borders between your region or country and the campsite region.
- Administrative closure of the campsite.
You could cancel your stay until the scheduled arrival date and benefit from a free change of dates or have a credit of the amount paid valid for two years at the Itsas Mendi campsite.
What specific health measures have been implemented at the campsite due the COVID-19 ?
Your well-being and safety, as well as our teams, are our priority.
We advise you to follow the routes in the common areas, and to respect the measures of distancing.
Hydroalcoholic gel terminals have been placed in the campsite for this purpose.
Before your arrival:
In order to confirm and finish your booking, make sure to pay the totality of the balance, 20 days before the date of arrival.
Contact us if you need any extra sheets or equipment for the baby.
The day of the arrival:
The reception is equipped with plexiglass and terminals of Hydroalcoholic gel.
Only one member per family is allowed to enter for the check in to take map, key and bracelet.
Arrivals can only occur between 4 pm and 8 pm (if this not apply to your case, please contact us, and we will communicate the procedure to follow). This is the time we need in order to clean and sanitize your stay.
Arrivals at camping pitches are from 2:00 p.m.
Wearing a mask is compulsory inside the reception.
The aquatic area:
The swimming pools will be open and accessible from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The rules of distance at the entrance and limitation of bathers will be applied.
The swimming pools are subject to health checks every day and that their beaches are disinfected.
Your towels should be installed respecting the distance of one meter between each family.
It will be open and will provide take-away and on-site sales.
Menus will be laminated and single-use on a table.
The tables will be spaced one meter apart and limited to 10 guests with reservations.
Wearing a mask is compulsory indoors.
The grocery store:
All the products you need, including bread and pastries, will be at your disposal while respecting physical distances.
Is closed because it is a small enclosed space.
Accommodation in a mobile home:
We clean and then disinfect mobile homes with a Covid 19 certified product.
Before entering the sanitary facilities, please use the Hydroalcoholic gel.
Wear your mask when traveling in hallways and common areas.
Please respect the measures of distancing.
Do not stay in the corridors: wait outside in line, respecting physical distances.
The toilets are disinfected several times a day.
The day of the departure:
Departures must be made before 10 a.m. Please clean and ventilate the mobil-home before your departure.
Return the keys to reception.
De camping :
Are the restaurant / bar / swimming pools open in low season?
Yes. The restaurant, bar and swimming pools are open while the campsite is open.
The aquatic area is accessible from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. The heated indoor swimming pool is open for the duration of the campsite opening and the outdoor aquatic area with slides is also open for the duration of the campsite opening depending on weather conditions.
Until what time can I enter to the campsite?
The entrance gate closes between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. in July and August.
It is possible to go out 24 hours a day in case of emergency.
Are visitors allowed?
Visitors are authorized and must present themselves at reception upon arrival. They are required to pay the visitor tax which gives them access to the campsite and its infrastructure.
Are the barbecues allowed at the campsite?
We have a collective barbecues area at your disposal and in free access.
Only gas or charcoal barbecues are allowed on the pitches, taking into account not to disturb nearby pitches. Electric barbecues or planchas are not allowed.
My child is a minor and wants to come to the campsite for a few days with friends, is it possible?
No, stays of unaccompanied minors are strictly prohibited.
Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Is there a laundromat on the campsite?
Yes, there are laundry facilities in the sanitary with washing machines and tumble dryers to be used with tokens or coins. Tokens are on sale at reception, washing token € 4.50 and drying token € 3.50.

Are swim shorts allowed at the swimming pools?
No, swim shorts and Bermuda shorts are not allowed for hygienic reasons.
Can I access the aquatic area without staying at the campsite?
No, the aquatic areas are reserved for the exclusive use of campsite guests.
They are required to wear a bracelet allowing a rapid identification and ensuring the comfort and safety of all.
Is the pool heated?
Yes, the campsite has a heated indoor swimming pool.
Is there the Wi-Fi connection on the campsite?
Yes, there is a free Wi-Fi network throughout the campsite. For 2 devices per location.
What are the reception opening times?
The reception is open from 8 a.m. to 20 p.m. And from 8 a.m. to 21 p.m. in July and August.

What is the tourist tax?
The tourist tax is a tax fixed by and for the municipality. In 2021, the amount is € 0.51 per day and per adult (from 18 years old).
Are babies and children counted in the number of people for accommodation?
Yes, the maximum capacity displayed for our rentals and pitches includes all participants in the stay, including children and babies.
How to book multiple accommodations or locations?
Reservations are personal. You can send us the contact details of each family and the type of accommodation desired for each one by email. We try to do our best to book your accommodations close to each other but cannot guarantee this, it depends on availability.
May I cancel my reservation?
For any cancellation with a minimum of 20 days before the date of arrival, the amount paid will be refunded less € 45 for fees (€ 20 for booking fees + € 25 for cancellation fees).
For any cancellation made between 19 and 10 days before the date of arrival, 50% of the amount of the stay will be refunded.
For any cancellation made less than 10 days before the arrival date, the amount of the stay will be forfeited.
In case of late arrival or advance departure, you shall pay the total amount of the stay; the periods taken into account will be the one mentioned in the contract. No reduction will be made.
How many people maximum can be accepted per accommodation / location?
The number of tenants cannot exceed the accommodation capacity (baby included).
The campsite is designed to accommodate 6 people and one car maximum.
Can I modify my stay?
You can change your dates of stay free of charge and depending on availability, you can contact us by phone or email for this.
Can I choose my location?
You can make your request in the comments when booking (N °, close to playgrounds, swimming pool, etc.). We cannot guarantee this, but we will do our best to meet your expectations depending on availability.
Can we arrive any day of the week?
Yes, in low season and subject to availability.
In July and August, your stay in a mobile home must last at least 7 days. Arrivals / departures are on: Saturday, Sunday or Wednesday.
For the camping pitches you can arrive on the day of your choice. In July and August, 4 night minimum unless we have availability.
How to book?
You can book a stay:

- By email, providing us with the following information: Name and first name, full postal address, mobile phone number, email, license plate, number of people and ages of children, type of accommodation and number of rooms requested or dimensions of your equipment for camping pitches.
How do I use my credit?
In the case that you have a credit note for a cancellation in 2020 due to COVID-19, we inform you about the steps to follow to be able to use the COVID-19 voucher at the time of booking on the website www.itsas-mendi .com
- Make the reservation with the same name and surname as the canceled stay (if not contact us).
- At the time of making the payment, choose the payment method "credit note COVID-19".
Upon receipt of your reservation request, we will deduct the voucher from the amount of your new reservation.
Then, we will send you an email with the remaining amount to be paid from the deposit or balance.
When should I pay my balance?
To confirm your reservation a deposit of 25% of the total stay will be requested within 10 days of booking.
The stay must be settled no later than 20 days before the date of arrival, otherwise the reservation will be considered canceled.
How to pay my stay?

What are the sanitary blocks equipped with?
Our 5 sanitary blocks (including 2 heated out of season) are equipped with PRM toilets, baby shower cubicles / children's toilets, emptying area for motorhomes, washing machine (additional charge) and tumble dryer (additional charge).
Can we have water at each location?
There are water points in the 5 sanitary facilities distributed throughout the campsite. There is an area to fill the tanks of motorhomes and caravans.
Are the pitches equipped with an electrical connection?
Yes, all pitches have access to electricity (10 A). For more comfort, we recommend you to bring an extension cord.
What electrical outlets should we provide?
Campers are requested to bring a European plug or adapter.
Possibility of rental on site: 0.50 € / night. (A deposit of 20 € will be requested)
Is there a parasol supplied with the mobile homes?
All mobile homes are equipped with garden furniture (table, chairs or benches and 2 deckchairs). The Belharra, Parlementia, Lafitenia, Cenitz and Loya mobile homes have a semi-covered wooden deck to provide shade, so they do not have a parasol. Marinela, Alcyon, Mayarco and Uhabia-Handi mobil homes are equipped with a parasol.
What are the dimensions of campsite pitches?
The pitches measure approximately 80 m².
Are the terraces covered?
The Belharra, Parlementia, Lafitenia, Cenitz and Loya mobile homes are equipped with a semi-covered wooden terrace.
The Alcyon, Mayarco and Uhabia-Handi mobile homes have an uncovered wooden terrace.
Marinela mobile homes have a slab terrace.
Is the end-of-stay cleaning included in my reservation?
No, the rental must be cleaned by you at your departure. € 60 cleaning fee supplement to be reserved before departure and subject to availability.
Can I park a second vehicle near my mobile home?
In July August, the second vehicle is in additional charge: Subject to availability. We have places available to park in the campsite but they are not necessarily close to the site.
Belharra mobile homes for 6 people with 3 bedrooms can accommodate 2 vehicles.
Is your accommodation equipped with air conditioning?
The mobile homes are not equipped with air conditioning. We are in a region where there is no very strong heat (apart from periods of exceptional heat waves), we take advantage of the ocean air.
Is your accommodation equipped with a television?
Yes, all our accommodations are equipped with a television.
Do you have baby kits?
We offer the rental of baby kit: high chair, cot and bathtub (subject to availability) at a price of:

No, sheets and towels are not provided at the accommodations.

What to do if you arrive outside the indicated times?
Late arrivals are only allowed until 9:00 p.m. In the case you have friends or relatives present at the campsite, we can give them the keys for you.
Are animals accepted?
Animals are strictly forbidden in accommodations.
They are authorized in the camping pitches, kept on a lead. They should always remain in company and not be abandoned by their master under any circumstances. The owner of the animal must bring the vaccination record and pay a daily tax.
How are the accommodations equipped? And what should I bring?
Our accommodations are all equipped with crockery, pillows and blankets are provided, within the limit of the number of beds.
Remember to bring your sheets (double bed of 140 and single bed of 80) and towels, not provided in the rentals. You can also rent them on site.
What are the arrival and departure times?
-Arrivals are from 4 p.m. and until 8 p.m. Until 9 p.m. on Friday evening.
Departures are before 10am.
For the pitches:
-Arrivals are from 2 p.m. and until 8 p.m. Until 9 p.m. on Friday evening.
Departures are before 12 noon.
